We have a small group, room for more, and it’s one of the activities people can join if they’re still working. All are welcome!
Meetings are scheduled for the following Mondays at 7PM in the Rappahannock Room.

2. A few topics from the last meeting and for upcoming meetings
This past time was pretty mellow. We talked about some of our Thanksgiving plans and traditions and places to go to see holiday lights. We talked a little about the new Board and some things we’d like to see happen.
When Bill and I went to New Orleans, we visited the WWII Museum. https://www.nationalww2museum.org/ It’s an excellent museum and they had a film narrated by Tom Hanks.
One of the people mentioned was Ernie Pyle, the great war correspondent. You can read about his life at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernie_Pyle. You can read or listen to one of his most famous pieces, “The Death of Captain Waskow” at https://erniepyle.iu.edu/wartime-columns/captain-waskow.html. It’s incredibly moving to read this and his other work.
