August 15 Email

The following is our email from August 15, 2022.

Hi, All.

I hope you’re well. This email is sent to people who have expressed interest or attended one of our evening conversations. To be removed from the list, just email me.

Here’s what we’re doing instead so please mark your calendar. I hope it’s not too complicated, and it will give us a chance to see which night is better in practice.

Our next meeting will be held Thursday, August 18 at 6:00 PM.

Subsequent meetings will be on 6:00 PM on the following dates:
Wednesday, September 7,
Thursday, September 22,
Wednesday, October 5, and
Thursday, October 20.

You no longer have to sign up in the white binder. I will continue to advertise on our website at https://tea-and-talk.blogspot.com, on the community’s discussion group and on both Facebook pages. Anyone may contact me if there are questions or if someone wants to be on the mailing list. Other than that - just come!

We bring extra masks and name tags in case you forget. I hope this will change for the better in the future.

The last time we met, we discussed a little about first cars and technology, some travel news, a few medical issues, and our lawn service came up.

Here are some optional topics for our meeting, and as always, you can bring in your own topic or go in another direction thanks to comments another person may make.

Travel:

Where have you lived? Would you return to any of those places? Which one/s and why?

Do you have travel plans? Do tell!

If you’re not traveling: if you could go anywhere now, where would it be? Why?

Technology:

When did you get a personal computer? How did you learn to use it? What programs do you use the most? What do you do the most with your phone?

When did you get your first car? What was it? How did you make that decision? What’s important in a vehicle now?

Other Possible Topics:

Education

How did you meet your spouse?

Natural healing: supplements, acupuncture, etc.

Regional places to visit such as Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens in DC https://hillwoodmuseum.org
